Making pictures is a passion, a calling. I've been behind the camera for over 10 years, and I look forward to exploring making your vision come to life.
My style is inspired in part by two of the most influential photographers of all time: Henri Cartier-Bresson and Irving Penn. From Cartier-Bresson, I learned the art of street photography and the importance of the decisive moment, the fleeting instant when everything comes together in a harmonious composition. From Penn, I learned the power of storytelling and the ability to create provocative and memorable images that reflect the culture and trends of our times. I combine these elements in my work, using natural light, candid expressions, and creative angles to create portraits, travel and lifestyle photos that are authentic, dynamic, and engaging. Creating memorable images is about alignment - the photographer, the environment, the subject(s), our photographic objective. Fact 1
I was born and raised in Chicago, where the amazing architecture of Sullivan and Wright, and the towering skyscrapers that line Michigan Avenue caught my gaze at an early age. I can't draw, but I can see, so....

My first camera was a Minolta film camera that my father left laying around the house after he departed, but I didn't pick it up for years, prefering to get lost in the unforgettable images on the pages of National Geographic.

Just like with my photography, I prefer capturing what life brings - not forcing things, letting it flow and develop organically. When the decisive moment happens, I want it to be through my lens.

Have passport, will travel! I've had the benefit to capture weddings, bicycle races, locations near and far. Travel is like breathing to me, and one of my cameras is always in my hand.
