Lay back, act natural, and let’s make some pictures

Sometimes people get nervous when they know they're going to be photographed.  I totally get it.  I get nervous too. The important thing to me isn't the pose, per se, but rather capturing who you are, what you want to express.  The 'perfect' pose will come naturally.

My approach

01.

Fill out the form

Once you’ve made up your mind, complete the form, and I will be getting back to you as soon as possible.

02.

Meet up

So everyone feels comfortable, we’ll have a quick call to discuss things and plan everything out.  We may have several calls, who knows?  The goal is to get to know each other ahead of time, so our photo sessions are relaxed and ultimately deliver on the vision we set together.

03.

Picture time

The big day! We’ll meet up, and get relaxed and prepared for the shooting day. In the meantime, I will be preparing the equipment so we can jump right into it.

04.

Delivering photos

In one or two weeks, you will receive your edited pictures in an online client gallery, to see yourself in all your natural glory.  We'll review them together and make the necessary adjustments.

FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

Don't be nervous. Seriously. It's digital images, we can always take another photo. The best thing is to center yourself and be in the moment.

What should I wear?

That totally depends on the purpose of the shoot, but unless we have a specific editorial idea in mind, wear what makes you feel comfortable and serves to set the tone for what you want your image to say.

How many pictures will I receive? What's your process?

Great question. I tend to shoot in 'threes' - to make sure I have the right shot. You know, making sure you're relaxed and your eyes are open (if that's the intention). I cull down photos pretty seriously and select the ones I believe are the best, and then I upload them into your private client gallery after finishing post-production editing. Generally speaking, I'd say 50-100 or so photos, but it could vary based on the theme or purpose of the shoot.

Where are you available?

I have a passport and I'm always ready to use it. I can be just about anywhere you are.

Do you do couples photography? Children?

Definitely! I am a mom of six children, so I love capturing my husband and family as much as possible. I'd be happy to work with you to capture your family - whatever couple and/or family means to you.

I have a concept for a photo shoot I'd like to try, are you game for it?

Yes and yes and yes. I love trying new ideas and exploring diverse ways to capture images. Let's put something together.
